Alpine’s Legendary R-Series Speakers enter the 3rd generation and are designed with innovative materials to deliver more output and sound simply amazing. You can choose between a professional and standard speaker line to fit your desired sound quality and budget.
If you play your music loud and want others to know, the R-Series speakers are the match for you. You’ll enjoy a center sound stage with speakers that play loud and clear without distortion. The R-Series speakers are tuned with an emphasis on the high- and low-end frequencies, so they deliver power while naturally producing bright, active sound. They are the perfect power and performance match for the R-Series subwoofers and amplifiers.
The all-new 2022 line-up of R-Series speakers are all Hi-Res Audio certified and feature a frequency response up to 40kHz. For the first time, the R-Series line includes a 3-way system and you can even choose from a Professional and Standard speaker line.
3-Way Component PRO Speaker
The R2-S653 is the top of the line of the new 2022 R-Series speaker line-up. It features a 16.5cm door woofer, 9.6cm mid-range speaker and a 4.3cm tweeter with up to 40kHz frequency response.
Glass-Fiber Reinforced Cone
The door woofer features an all-new glass-fiber reinforced cone. This material is very stiff and extremely light-weight, resulting in a super-fast response and highly accurate music reproduction.
Composite Basket and Large Magnets
The standard models (R2-S69C, R2–S65, R2-S69C and R2-S69) feature composite baskets (in comparison to the Aluminum die-cast baskets of the PRO models) – which makes them more affordable. They fit larger magnets than in previous generations (while maintaining the same mounting depth).
Hi-Res Audio Certified Hard Dome Tweeter
The all-new magnesium hard-dome tweeters deliver clear, detailed music reproduction and play up to 40kHz (Hi-Res Audio). You have the option to flush-mount them in their threaded housing (for example in a door panel) or use the included on-dash mounts. The tweeters can be swivelled in their housing to point them right at the sweet-spot.
Easy-Fit Tweeter in OEM Locations
You can simply remove the installation frame and the trim ring of the R-Series tweeter to minimise its overall size and diameter. The tweeter itself is then small enough to fit it in many OEM tweeter locations (inside A-pillars, mirror triangles or door panels) for a stealthy installation.
Flexible PRO X-Over Network
This large-size crossover network includes many high-quality components selected for best sound quality. You can adjust the mid-range speaker level by -3dB / 0dB / +3dB and the tweeter level as well by -3dB / 0dB / +3dB.
HAMR Surround
Alpine’s HAMR Surround (High-Amplitude Multi-Roll) allows for a maximum cone excursion, while maintaining excellent control. This results in strong bass at high volumes without distortion.
New Speaker Grills
The new speakers grills in hexagon design look very aggressive and do not increase the overall speaker installation diameter.

Where We Ship
We ship to all Australian states and territories, including PO Boxes. We do not currently ship outside Australia.
Shipment Processing
We aim to dispatch orders placed before [CUT-OFF TIME] AEST on a business day the same business day, where stock is on hand. Orders placed after the cut-off, on weekends or on public holidays are dispatched the next business day.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders or if a product needs to be sourced from our distributor, dispatch may take longer. If there is a significant delay, we will contact you by email or phone.
Orders are not dispatched or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
We offer free standard shipping on all orders within Australia to most metropolitan addresses. Bulky or heavy items — such as large subwoofers, multiple amplifiers, or full system shipments — may attract an additional freight surcharge, which will be shown at checkout before you confirm your order. Remote and regional addresses may also attract additional freight depending on the courier.

Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has been dispatched, containing your tracking number. The tracking number will typically be active within 24 hours.
Shipping to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers
We can ship to PO Boxes and Australia Post Parcel Lockers, subject to carrier and item size restrictions. Bulky items may not be deliverable to these addresses; if that's the case for your order, we will contact you to arrange an alternative.
Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us at [EMAIL] or call [PHONE] within 48 hours of delivery, with photos of the damaged packaging and product. We will work with the courier to file a claim and arrange replacement or refund as appropriate. Please retain all original packaging until the claim is resolved.
Lost Parcels
If your tracking shows the parcel as delivered but you haven't received it, please contact us within 7 days of the delivery date so we can investigate with the courier.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
As we ship within Australia only, no customs duties apply. GST is included in all prices displayed on the site.
Click and Collect
Sydney customers can collect online orders directly from our Northern Beaches showroom by selecting "Click and Collect" at checkout, subject to stock availability. We will email you when your order is ready for collection. Please bring photo ID and a copy of your order confirmation.
Installation Customers
If your order includes installation at our Sydney workshop, products are held at the workshop and not shipped. We will contact you to confirm your installation booking.
