The UTX-M08S is designed for audiophiles who demand the ultimate sound experience. Supporting 96 kHz/24bit file formats natively, as well as FLAC, APE, DSD, WAV, AAC, WMA, MP3, M4A, you can enjoy your music from any kind of source.
The UTX-M08S has been designed with a unique split structure concept to allow greater installation flexibility for a wider range of vehicles — seamless integration with the vehicle’s OEM systems is facilitated through steering wheel control support and navi-mix function, which allows attenuation of the audio source when there is an incoming navigation instruction.
Furthermore, with the addition of an Alpine DSP (sold separately), the UTX-M08S can perform as a remote commander allowing full DSP control from the unit.
The UTX-M08S combines its unique “Add-in” design concept and high installation versatility with amazing sound quality capabilities through Hi-Res certified audio, to deliver a rich and all-round incredible audio experience for even the most discerning audiophile.
A unique high-end design that suits a multitude of installation applications
Perfect for stealth, vintage or exotic vehicle applications the stunning 2.4-inch TFT display controller has a slim profile which can be mounted virtually anywhere and for bespoke installations the included flush mount bezel can be utilised. The black box can be installed into a 1-DIN space or hidden away in a glove-box compartment or other discrete location such as under a seat or dashboard within a distance limited to the 2.5mtrs controller display cable length
CD Standard Sampling Rate
CD standard provides excellent sound quality with a sample rate 16Bit/44.1kHz and a frequency range typically 20Hz~20kHz.

Hi-Res Audio has remarkable high definition with sample rates up to 24Bit/192kHz and an extended frequency range 20Hz~40kHz.

The Hi-Res Audio certification is the industry benchmark for which has been standardised through JAS (Japan Audio Society). In summary, it is the collaboration of digital processes and formats that allow the encoding and playback of high-definition music files which require higher sampling rates and wider frequency dynamic range compared to what is found on typical CDs.
Hi-Res Audio encompasses the playback of high-resolution music such as FLAC, WAV or APE files that contain high sampling rates of 24Bit/192kHz (above the CD standard 16Bit/44.1kHz). These audio files can be reproduced with high fidelity sound via the UTX-M08S and companioned with Hi-Res Audio certified speakers and amplifiers.

Vehicles equipped with a factory navigation system and integrated vehicle controls often cannot be changed. The UTX-M08S keeps your OEM system intact by allowing it to be integrated with the OEM system for pure high-end sound and additional functions such as Bluetooth (4.0) for audio and music streaming. Plus, the auxiliary input with ‘nav mix’ lets you hear voice guidance from the factory navigation system.

External Control Inputs

Moreover, the UTX-M08S can also be used in conjunction with Alpine’s range of DSP’s (sold separately) to fully control audio output and settings direct from the unit.

Where We Ship
We ship to all Australian states and territories, including PO Boxes. We do not currently ship outside Australia.
Shipment Processing
We aim to dispatch orders placed before [CUT-OFF TIME] AEST on a business day the same business day, where stock is on hand. Orders placed after the cut-off, on weekends or on public holidays are dispatched the next business day.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders or if a product needs to be sourced from our distributor, dispatch may take longer. If there is a significant delay, we will contact you by email or phone.
Orders are not dispatched or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
We offer free standard shipping on all orders within Australia to most metropolitan addresses. Bulky or heavy items — such as large subwoofers, multiple amplifiers, or full system shipments — may attract an additional freight surcharge, which will be shown at checkout before you confirm your order. Remote and regional addresses may also attract additional freight depending on the courier.

Shipping to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers
We can ship to PO Boxes and Australia Post Parcel Lockers, subject to carrier and item size restrictions. Bulky items may not be deliverable to these addresses; if that's the case for your order, we will contact you to arrange an alternative.
Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us at [EMAIL] or call [PHONE] within 48 hours of delivery, with photos of the damaged packaging and product. We will work with the courier to file a claim and arrange replacement or refund as appropriate. Please retain all original packaging until the claim is resolved.
Lost Parcels
If your tracking shows the parcel as delivered but you haven't received it, please contact us within 7 days of the delivery date so we can investigate with the courier.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
As we ship within Australia only, no customs duties apply. GST is included in all prices displayed on the site.
Click and Collect
Sydney customers can collect online orders directly from our Northern Beaches showroom by selecting "Click and Collect" at checkout, subject to stock availability. We will email you when your order is ready for collection. Please bring photo ID and a copy of your order confirmation.
Installation Customers
If your order includes installation at our Sydney workshop, products are held at the workshop and not shipped. We will contact you to confirm your installation booking.
